A change of Administrations always provides more questions than answers.
How about this one: how does a scatterbrain sweat gland like Elon Musk
get to alter the economic future of a fifth of the population of the
United States, and by association, the overall economy? Being one of
Donald Trump’s lap dogs is hardly a great recommendation for
high office. How does Elon Musk aquire the right to co-chair with Vivek
Ramaswamy the "Department of Government Efficiency" and determine how
much and how long American retirees will be able to count on Social Security
and Medicare, the two major standbys of the U.S. working class, senior
citizens, the disabled, poor widows, and orphaned children?
By Trump's standards, Musk should be deported as a liar who denied before AND
after he was naturalized about working in the U.S. as an illegal immigrant.
Don't hold your breath.
The three - Trump, Musk and Ramaswamy - are as close to "working class" as
Guiliani is to "smart."
Giuliani was the mayor of NYC during "9-11," and he became not only NY's
hero but America's too, for his handling of the crisis, and for uplifting the
morale of a nation clearly in shock. At one point during his tenure as mayor,
his enraged Catholic response to the prurient and sacrilegious nature of the
"nouveau" art being displayed in his beloved city, was in righteous contrast
to his later idealization (and idolization) of Donald Trump, the "chief" embodiment
of every form of lewdness that rages over the USA today. Dreams of empire
are not the proper sustenance for America's working class; and Rudy's current
state of affairs are the prime example of what happens when empires crash and burn.
T/M/R were born and bred without distractions and/or obstructions to mastering
"the art of the deal" here, where all the resources are right on hand for profiteers
to "game the system." In a less PC era, these jokers would've been idiot/savants,
idiot mostly, the genius part being a facility for sleazeballing their way to wealth
and power. Now they buy what they can't sell. There's no measure to the grief they've
caused on their slime trail to the top. The technicians, the accountants, the designers
and innovators, and the everyday white AND blue collar workers that they've trampled
is a demographic all its own. Granted, that not all billionaires are assholes, but those that
are crying along with Trump to the M_A_G_A tune, ignore the fact that this is without question,
"The Golden Age of Scumbags."
These morons play Greg Abbott's version of Texas Hold'em with marked tarot decks that
contain a dozen "Emperor" cards, and the "World" card conveniently missing.
They use tech companies for chips.
What interest would a naturalized American or two first generation "nouveau riche" have
in MAGA, or even an understanding about what makes the U.S. great to begin with? What do they
care how much it costs a poor American to put gas in his car so that
he can go to work to pay the rent or to put a bowl of bean soup on the table for his children?
Their love for America and Americans is equal to the amount of money that they can siphon out of the
working class.
Musk wants to put a colony on Mars. (Whoopee!!!) It won't be as easy as
moving from Virginia to Ohio when the fields become lifeless. Musk left South Africa because
he wasn't happy with his life there. He didn't stay to improve it, so now he wants to mold the U.S.
to his tastes: by running the American cash register. Maybe he's aiming for Mars citizenship now. Gog
and Magog need his help down there planning the bitcoin budget.
The Kennedy guy with the worm in his brain wants the FDA to revoke its approval of the polio vaccines. I guess
one of his friends just bought the franchise for manufacturing iron lungs.
The baldheaded guy
who looks like a union enforcer who might know where Jimmy Hoffa is buried, is gonna be Trump's
border czar. I guess the descendants of people who once inhabited the Southwestern U.S. trying to
go home again has a tendency to piss some "bolíllos" off.
